A Bit About Myself

My name is Richard Shears though I prefer Rick. I am a lifelong resident of Ohio and have lived in Columbus since 2007. I support animal rights, love the outdoors and enjoy bike riding.

I am currently majoring in Web Design and Development at Stark State College in North Canton, Ohio. My plans are to focus on the development side (writing code) of websites. I spend many hours on the computer working to increase my skills in various development programs

Education

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Findlay with an associate degree in Business Administration in 1997. A few years later I also obtained a two year certificate from Marion Technical College with a 4.0 in Advanced Business.

In addition to my college education, I am enrolled in a seperate program learning to design and code websites with the use of Abobe Fireworks program.

As mentioned above, I am a current student in Web Design and Development and will enter my fourth semester this summer. I have held the Dean’s List every semester and expect to maintain that status each upcoming semester. My tentative graduation date is May 2014.
